John was a good man, boss and friend. John gave me my first job opportunity in civilian life in May 2012 were I worked along side him for 5 and half years. I owe a lot to him for taking the gamble and he was sadly taken from us far to early. I am shocked and sad and as I said a couple of weeks ago in hospital you will be missed a lot by my family and I, thank you for everything John. I hope you're enjoying a Cognac with the big man.
