Having know john for over 20 years as both a work colleague and friend he will be sadly missed by many he was one of the funniest guys I had the pleasure of knowing and definitely missed his calling as a stand up comedian. I remember on one occasion in work we were chatting and he had us both crying with laughter for 3 hours and another time when were went away for the night in manchester with our partners he had the whole hotel bar laughing for over 2 hours with his faultless impressions of famous people. You will be greatly missed my friend and I am sure you will have everyone in stitches in heaven. My condolences go to your family at this time of their great loss. Colin McCrory
